Soren met some friends that just moved here from the Caribbean! He’s loving having three fun brothers to run around with! He’s in awe that they’ve spent their whole life living at the beach. And they really liked picking grapes from our garden! Their mom was my friend in elementary school. It’s been fun to reunite!
Miles spent the week at dunk camp at the Karl Malone Center in Lehi. Coaches and participants flew in from all over and it was so cool to watch them put on a dunk show at the end. Miles increased his vertical to 37”. And met lots of new people. He loved taking them for a ride in his car and up to Tibble!
Simone spent the week in Idaho at OFY camp. She and her friend Ashley were roommates and had a fun time river rafting, arm wrestling all the boys and doing all the fun camp activities. Simone is a great storyteller and I loved hearing all about camp on the drive home from picking them up. They got quarantined because a boy in camp had covid. Thankfully it was just at the last day.
Monet is soaking up the last few weeks before her girlfriends head out on their missions. She got to tour her future apartment near BYU. She’s training for her next marathon next month and hit 42 miles this week. She's decided to major in exercise science and wants to go to PA school afterward. She was hoping to shadow Matt's PA but his hospital got shut down for elective surgeries due to covid.
Elise moved into her charming new apartment this week in Provo! It’s in an old home built in 1896! It’s got super high ceilings and great views. Close to all the fun restaurants in Provo. She’s excited to be able to put it all together. She and Ethan just got back from Kansas City selling solar for a bit before school starts in the midst of all this wedding planning. She's been home a full year now from her mission! Three more weeks and they are married!
