And that wasn't even her real birthday! Today was pretty chill since we celebrated for two days straight. But she got a cute b-day text and some cute friends brought presents. (even the one she did the secret Valentine for, so that was way exciting) This years "cake" was the ice cream sandwiches we forgot to give all the friends who came over to play nightgames. Genius!
It has been a great day!
What I love most about Monet is that she has such a grateful heart. She doesn't expect anything. She is always working hard and offers to pay for everything herself. She says "Thank You" constantly. She serves so willingly in our family. She is so loving and nurturing. She has so much patience and loves to teach her younger siblings. I love her dedication and diligence. When she wants to learn to do something, she doesn't quit. She practices and practices until she has it down. It really is a fantastic trait to have perseverance like that. Monet is responsible and organized too. I know when she says she is going to do something, she will do it. This past week, she tried out for student council. That required making a video. Monet did the whole thing herself. I was so busy and she just figured it out and got it done, learning all the new editing software to do it. I also love her sense of humor, her instagram pics and hashtags keep me entertained. I love her creativity. She is often my Young Women's "assistant." If there is some project I need to get done, I know she'll be excited to help me with it.
Jared and I often lay in bed at night and talk about how much we love our kids. We love our sweet little Monet.
