Moved

It was a LOT of work.  Here is Simone sleeping in her own makeshift bed while I put her bed together (with one of my good friends, Thank you Kendra for stopping by!)
Our chickens are liking the backyard better than the garage I think!

We got our first egg!  We bought two hens that were already laying.  So fun!  The kids are very excited.

FHE project was building a treehouse.  We didn't want to put it off and make it super complicated, so we just used what we already had, and didn't cut anything.  But it is pretty fun!  Miles says having a treehouse is a "dream come true."  He said he's been wanting a treehouse since he was two.  And now that he is a scout, he is really into power tools and building.  So that was perfect. ;)

I think this is my dream come true.  The view of the back of the house from the treehouse.

Soren is One!

Soren is One!

What he loves:
Swinging
Throwing things in the garbage
Throwing things in the toilet
"feeding" Sugar by chucking stuff from the high chair
Waving goodbye and saying goodnight to all of his siblings at bedtime
Daddy!  He loves to say Daddy!
Can do a pretty good impression of the neighbors dog barking
Being outside
Walks in the jogger
Eating Eggs!  He LOVES eggs
He also likes popsicles and is getting two new teeth.  So far only one has popped through!
His minky side of his blanket.  He rubs it against his face.
Likes water, but only sips cow milk, that is okay though he is still nursing
Sleeping!  He goes to bed so easily and naps great.  Sleeping through the night most of the time.  Yay!

Sister Sandwich!

This is the Winger Cake Smash Tradition.  When each baby turns one they get their very own chocolate cake to dig into.  None of my kids have gone crazy over it.  Elise didn't like getting her hands dirty, and I think Monet was the same way.  Soren liked using the spoon better than his hands.  He really enjoyed the chocolate I think.  And was in awe of the candles.  I am getting better at baking. This cake looks SO much more even than my first ever layer cake I made for Elise.

Happy Birthday Soren!  I think he really loved his new books, balloons, and his cool new clothes and toys.

Monet is 11!

Monet is 11!  We decided to do her Limo Party (like Elise's 11th b-day party) after the move.  So we celebrated with lots of Easter Egg hunts, basketball games and of course, shopping.  It was a fun day.  I love spending time with Monet.

Monet is always so happy to help.  She loves watching Soren AND she loves money.  We call her "Money Monet."  So she saved up for this sweet longboard.  Her friend was so cute and was helping her choose.  We will miss all of our neighbors from our other street.  Luckily we are really close still.
Two of the best big sisters!  Monet and her friend with their baby brothers.
New Longboard!  She saved her babysitting money up and bought this.

Spring Break Picture Recap

Once again this year it was pretty hard to really go anywhere for Spring Break.  We had a lot of packing to do.  But we also had lots of fun.

Easter Egg Hunt at Grandma's House!

Celebrity Sighting!  Perfectly Normal Pancakes!  LOL.  If you like Kid History, this guy is our favorite.

Monet is 11!  This girl had tons of Easter Egg Hunts on her b-day this year.  We are excited to throw her a party in a couple of weeks.

There was lots of streetball.  Jared loves that Elise can really throw a football and can catch like a guy.  We need a powder puff league!

I took a picture of Miles before a much needed haircut.  Love those baby blues!  He is getting so big.

Soren cried at the door the whole week.  He did not want to be inside.  He wanted in on ALL the action.

Sidewalk Artists Hanah and Elise

Last Day of Ski School.  Simone sluffed.

Two Wheelin!  Finally.  I should have tried a little bike like this last year when I was trying to teach her.

Cute Little Friends!

Monet was very worried about cheating by helping Soren with his Easter Egg Hunt.  We assured her that it was not a problem, but she only helped him with a few eggs just to be sure. ;)

He loved playing with the plastic eggs!

At the Utah County Realtor Easter Egg Hunt.  This is what $1000/year in Real Estate dues gets me.  An awesome Easter Egg Hunt with the kids.  ;)
